Angered over not knowing about Luke, Vader is on a rampage to punish anyone who may have been involved with hiding his son from him. That's brought Vader to Padme's home planet of Naboo, where he's joined forces with the Queen's loyal protectors. Among those allies is one of Padme's handmaidens, Sabe, who had previously claimed to be in league with Vader. In reality, Sabe believes Vader to be Padme's murderer, and she springs a trap to avenge her fallen queen once and for all in Star Wars: Darth Vader 4. Sabe and her fellow Amidalans have pledged their fealty to Padme and her brave Jedi protector, Anakin. Hailing from all walks of life from Naboo and beyond, the Amidalans seem sworn to honor Padme's legacy and confront Vader once Sabe's true loyalties are revealed. However, everyone involved here is either wrong or ill-informed. Despite his many misdeeds, it wasn't Vader who killed Padme, and Vader doesn't even know the full circumstances surrounding her death and the birth of the Skywalker twins. The Amidalans stand little chance against Vader. He mercilessly tears through their ranks.

Discovered as a slave on Tatooine by Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker had the potential to become one of the most powerful Jedi ever, and was believed by some to be the prophesied Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force. A hero of the Clone Wars, Anakin was caring and compassionate, but also had a fear of loss that would prove to be his downfall. The animated series told several essential stories about The Chosen One. Unable to afford the parts they needed, Anakin devised a plan to help his new friends: he would enter the Boonta Eve Classic Podrace and give the winnings to Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon realized that Anakin was Force-sensitive, and upon his victory in the race, informed Anakin he was free and could train to become a Jedi. The boy was overjoyed, but afraid to leave his mother behind; indeed, Yoda sensed this when Anakin was brought before the Jedi Council, and it was this fear that led to Anakin being denied entry into the Order.
